Organic Potato Starch (sometimes called potato flour) is made exclusively from high-quality organic starch potatoes grown locally by our contract farmers in the Baltic states, Finland and Sweden. Our production process is carefully designed and documented, and quality is the number one priority for our committed growers.

Organic potato starch is extracted from organic potatoes mechanically through an extensive process of washing and then separating the starch present in potato cells so that it can be produced into a powder. By using a modern production process we can guarantee the purity of our products. We take pride in responsible production, and our quality management system conforms to the ISO standard and FSSC 22000 or BRC. In 2015 we extracted – for the first time – the protein from the potato juice to decrease our environmental footprint. Water is used in the process several times before being purified in our own biological water treatment plant.
